Back-to-School Assistance Program Registration
The United Way of Putnam County is proud to support local families through our annual Back-to-School Assistance Program. This program helps ensure students start the school year prepared and confident by providing backpacks and essential school supplies to income-eligible families.
Registration for the 2026–2027 school year is now open.
All registrations must be submitted by August 1, 2026.
To be considered, families must complete the registration form and provide required documentation to verify eligibility. Space and supplies are limited, and assistance is provided on a first-come, first-served basis for those who qualify.
Who is eligible?
This program is available to families residing in Putnam County who meet income eligibility guidelines.
What you’ll need to apply:
Completed registration form
Proof of residency
Proof of income or program eligibility (such as SNAP, WIC, etc.)
Once your application is reviewed, you will be notified regarding your eligibility and provided with distribution details.
